Here are some optional solutions of how to change the language of BMW E88 navigation and display, with bmw tools or without anything.

Purpose:
To change the language from navigation and display to Dutch from BMW E88 2009 German import.

1- Free to change the navigation language without tools:
If the car is a German one, you can select only German, English and French from the iDrive menue.
For other languages, you’ll need to reflash / code your car.

2- Using BMW ICOM ISTA-P to change the navigation language:
The easiest way should be using ISTA-P.
There’s a bunch of checkboxes to set a desired language.

Q: MB SD C4 can not find the hard disk and the system display following error message: “A disk read error occurred. Press Ctrl+ Alt+ Del to restart-”


A: There are two possible reasons:
1. Poor connection between computer and hard disk.
2. The hard disk is broken.
Unplug the hard disk and reinstall it. If it still fails to use, buy a new hard disk.

1) Connect MB SD Connect C4 to laptop/PC
2) Install MB SD Connect software

4) Select "Spriner 906", then DAS will recognize that vehicle is VW LT3
5) Set Ignition Voltage to pin 8 of Diagnostic Socket. MB SD Connect will access VW ECU module. And It is said that C5 diagnostic tool in the only one supports protocol---DOIP in the new Mercedes, which C3, C4 cannot support. Like SDconnect C4, C5 also supports wireless diagnosis.
I used it to for my air condition. Days ago, I got air condition regassed and noticed that while it was being done that the compressor clutch isn't working - so I have no air condition she has manual air condition with knows. The EC button works, well the light cones on! With the help of C5, I got the AC codes, and then search the codes’ meaning on the web to diagnose it well.
Luckily, it came back to my arms yesterday. Thanks to C5!!
